Blue Arrow
The Last Cassowary on Mt Whitfield
Blue Arrow was the last known cassowary to live on Mount Whitfield, in the heart of Cairns.
She died in 1996 after being attacked by dogs as a result of becoming isolated in the Conservation Park.
This project is a community education resource which uses the imagined character and narratives of Blue Arrow and her life as a topic focus for local relevant learning.
